Chilean fought valiantly but went down on penalties

first world cup knockout between Brazil and Chile as expected it would be a nerve cracking match but no one would have thought it would boil down to penalty shootout and eventually Brazil gets through. The first half was slightly dominated by Brazil in bits and pieces too much reliant on Neymar, but Chilean defense did well enough to prevent him space.Lots of foul being made from both side, ugly tackling.

Arturo Vidal for chile was the live wire he was every where creating spaces provided an excellent one touch near the penalty box area forcing Caesar to make save.

It's sad that Chilean side put everything and in the extra time a last ditch effort went and unfortunately hit the bar, unlucky is the word. But Chilean would be going out of the tournament with their head held high. They knocked out Spain who ruled almost a decade.Kudos to chile team comprises of player except a few superstars most player play for not so big fancy league but they proved that on any given day they can play much better football than other European rich counter parts whose team comprises of million dollar superstar but those couldn't make it to the second round.

Some stunning pictures from yesterday match
